Litter Pickup at Gossler Park School

One of our members was unable to attend our first clean up of the year.  Inspired by the cleanup the week before, she spent some time picking up around the Gossler Park School playground during a visit on May 8th with her children.

While the city has trash barrels strategically placed by the basketball courts and the playground, the area was still strewn with empty water bottles, cigarette butts, and contents of what can be presumed to be the schools bagged lunch program based on the easily available empty brown bags to hold debris.

It’s easy to make an impact in the quality of the places you visit, especially if you’re willing to spend 5 minutes picking up a little bit extra.
