It was a beautiful morning for a pick up with 10 volunteers. While we don’t like to see excess litter, it’s always nice to look at a park after our team has been through and see a stark improvement. We ventured around the block, walking down to second street to collect debris built up along the road.

We Heart West volunteers helped the Parkside Gardens gardeners to clean up and prepare the vegetable garden for the season. This included picking up trash in and around the garden, and laying mulch for the footpath running to the school.
