We had a great turn out for We Heart West’s first park cleanup of the 2023 season! Volunteers from Voya, Lion’s Club Puerto Rico, and several local community members joined us. We removed trash and debris from Sweeney Park, surrounding neighborhood streets, and along the bike trail. Thank you to everyone that attended!

After sharing coffee and conversation, a good-sized group of volunteers, nine adults and three kids, helped to clean Sweeney Park today. Come help us make our neighborhood a better place at our next event — we’re cleaning up around Conant and Cartier streets on Monday, August 1st.
A group of volunteers did a litter pickup around Kelly and Coolidge streets. We got a lot of thank-you’s and encouragement!
