Cleaning up at Lafayette Park and Amory Street
We had a great turn out at our Tuesday evening cleanup. Over 15 volunteers came to pick up trash in Lafayette Park.
During the Manchester fireworks show Lafayette Park is a hot spot for firework viewing. We found debris and burnt firework trash left over from this event. With such a solid group of volunteers we were able to clear a lot of the debris.
A few of our volunteers showed up with a cool cleanup set up. They used a wagon to drag around two large trash cans, leaving their hands free from having to carry heavy bags. We loved this idea!
