We had a huge turn out despite the rain! We had over 175 Trick or Treaters attend our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat. It was so much fun! Thank you to everyone that participated. One of the “Trunkers” put together this video of the event. Next year, join us for our 4th annual event, and spread the word!
Despite the weather, lots of trunkers and treaters turned out for We Heart Wests’ first Trunk or Treat event. The kids had a lot of fun, and neighbors got to hang out and reconnect.
We Heart West volunteers helped the Parkside Gardens gardeners to clean up and prepare the vegetable garden for the season. This included picking up trash in and around the garden, and laying mulch for the footpath running to the school.
This Saturday, our team of volunteers cleaned up Rock Rimmon Park. We also walked up the hill and cleaned the top of Rock Rimmon, and the area surrounding it. Everyone enjoyed the lovely late summer weather, including a couple of new volunteers and a bunch of kids helping out. This was our final Park litter…
We Heart West’s “Trunk or Treat” was a great success. The weather was great and everyone had an awesome time collecting candy or getting a balloon animal from the balloon guy.
